The 2023 British Academy Television Awards (BAFTA TV Awards)



 The 2023 British Academy Television Awards (BAFTA TV Awards) were held on 14 May 2023 at the Royal Festival Hall in London, to recognise the excellence in British television of 2022. The nominations were announced on 22 March 2023 alongside the nominations for the 2023 British Academy Television Craft Awards. The nominees for Memorable Moment, voted on by the public, were announced on 18 April 2023. BBC One drama The Responder led the nominations with four.

The ceremony was hosted by comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan and was broadcast on BBC One.

The Memorable Moment award, voted for by the public, was won by the moment in It's a Sin when Ritchie Tozer (Olly Alexander) comes out to his mother Valerie (Celia Imrie).

The BAFTA TV Awards 2023 was a celebration of the best in British television, and it was a night to remember for many of the winners and nominees. The ceremony was a lively and entertaining affair, and it was clear that the British public loves its television.
